Teaching Smarter, Not Harder: Managing Time, Energy, and Target Language in the Classroom

Facilitator: Dr. Rossella Di Rosa, FIGS
Convener: Sandrine Rajaonarivony, CETLI Graduate Fellow, FIGS

Starting your teaching journey can feel overwhelming — lesson prep, grading, burnout, and staying in the target language can quickly pile up. This interactive workshop will provide you with practical tools to manage your time, protect your energy, and maintain your class in the target language without losing students’ engagement.

All graduate students are welcome. This event grows out of concerns in the Francophone, Italian, and Germanic Studies department, and so may be most useful to students in related fields.

Counts toward the CETLI Teaching Certificate.
