Teaching in the Age of AI: STEM

Facilitator: Amanda Watson, CETLI Fellow, Nursing

While students have started to use ChatGPT and other AI programs for understanding complex material and studying for exams, some uses of these programs might limit student learning. In this workshop, we will address how to define learning goals in the age of AI and consider how AI presents challenges or can be an asset to students in reaching those goals. You will leave with strategies for separating helpful use from harmful use to help you consider appropriate uses for AI in your classroom.
