Strategies for Teaching Humanities to Undergrads

Facilitator: Dr. Gerald Prince, FIGS
Convener: Sandrine Rajaonarivony, CETLI Graduate Fellow, FIGS

A discussion-based workshop for graduate students across disciplines on strategies for teaching the humanities to undergraduates. The session will be an informal conversation with space to raise questions, challenges, and concerns about teaching practice. The workshop features Gerald J. Prince, a leading figure in literary theory and narratology. Light refreshments will be provided.

All graduate students are welcome. This event grows out of concerns in the Francophone, Italian, and Germanic Studies departments, and so may be most useful to students in related fields.

Counts toward the CETLI Teaching Certificate.
