By creating classes that get students into neighborhoods in Philly, instructors can help students learn in a more connected and real-world way. In this conversation, Kent Bream of Family Medicine and Community Health and Domenic Vitiello of City and Regional Planning will begin by considering how to create classes that use local places to help students engage with content and reflect about their own experiences.
