Inclusive education in the sciences is critical for keeping diverse students engaged in scientific education and in maintaining diverse STEM fields. In this workshop, we will hear from Dr. Mecky Pohlschröder, the director of the First Exposure to Research in Biological Sciences (FERBS), about creating an inclusive environment for students.

All graduate students are welcome. This event grows out of concerns in the Biology department and so may be most useful to students in related fields.
