Multi-Session Group Projects that Encourage Students to Collaborate Across Differences

Facilitator: Drs. Fritz Breithaupt, Francophone, Italian, and Germanic Studies (FIGS); and Heather J. Sharkey, Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures (MELC)

Encouraging students to work together across several class sessions can be challenging but, under the right conditions, allows students to learn from each other in ways that bring academic work to life.  In this conversation, Fritz Breithaupt of FIGS and Heather Sharkey of MELC will begin by describing how they have structured and encouraged these multi-session projects to be successful.
