What’s Happening Now with AI in Teaching and Learning?
Facilitator: Drs. Yuko Butler, and Bodong Chen, Educational Linguistics; Shruti Mehta, Graduate School of Education
Convener: Diana Lalata, CETLI Graduate Fellow, Educational Linguistics
Graduate student teaching assistants (TAs) and faculty are invited to attend a workshop co-hosted by the Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Innovation and the Graduate School of Education. The event will feature a panel of scholars, Dr. Yuko Butler, Dr. Bodong Chen, and Shruti Mehta, whose work has examined the role of AI in academic spaces. After the panel, participants will be able to engage with the panelists in roundtable small-group discussions. Light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
All graduate students are welcome. This event grows out of concerns in the Educational Linguistics department, and so may be most useful to students in related fields.
Counts toward the CETLI Teaching Certificate.
