CETLI’s 2025-2026 annual report captures the work CETLI did to drive teaching excellence across the University of Pennsylvania and enrich the educational experience for all of Penn’s students and learners.

Highlights of the Report

In addition to supporting faculty, students and staff from all of Penn’s 12 schools, some highlights of the report include:

  • Total faculty programming attendance topped 2,100.
  • Total graduate student participation surpassed 3,000 attendees.
  • 990 instructors participated in workshops focused on AI in teaching.
  • CETLI supported the development and launch of over 40 new online offerings, both credit-bearing and non-credit.
  • Our website attracted over 90,000 total website users over the reporting year.

In the letter from leadership, Bruce Lenthall and Megan Carr express gratitude for the community behind these numbers: “At its core, CETLI...invites faculty, graduate students, other instructors, and staff to embrace the hard work and hard thinking that teaching requires. We are grateful that so many of you have taken us up on that invitation.”
