Using Multimedia to Create Affirming Classroom Environments

Facilitator: Professor Kim McKay, Lecturer, Masters of Social Work
Convener: Ari Gzesh, CETLI Graduate Fellow, Social Policy & Practice

Kim McKay, PhD, LSW, Med is a full-time lecturer in both the MSW and MSSP programs. Moreover, they will discuss classroom policies and practices that celebrate and affirm various identities (diverse learning needs, marginalized gender/sexualities, etc).

All graduate students are welcome. This event grows out of concerns in the Social Policy & Practice department, and so may be most useful to students in related fields.

Counts toward the CETLI Teaching Certificate.
