Teaching Inclusively Across Political DividesĀ 

Facilitator: Lourdes Contreras, CETLI Graduate Fellow, Italian Studies

This workshop will discuss pedagogical approaches to political diversity in the classroom and ways to create an environment that fosters effective conversations among students about cultural material covered in class. The discussion will focus on strategies and conversations that have been productive in helping students arrive at their own conclusions independently while maintaining inclusive and equitable standards within the classroom. This session is most appropriate for TAs in the School of the Arts and Sciences.
