Conversations about and across differences are crucial to learning in many Penn classes, yet instructors feel anxious about engaging topics that seem too controversial, especially given anxiety around the upcoming election and the events of the past academic year.  In this optional session, you’ll share ideas about strategies to create a trusting classroom where students can speak with and listen to each other in productive ways.
