Unplugging and Ungrading: Centering Classrooms as Contexts for Learning and Collaboration
Facilitator: Dr. Betsy Rymes, Educational Linguistics
Convener: Diana Lalata, CETLI Graduate Fellow, Educational Linguistics
How can unplugging and ungrading help us center our classrooms as contexts for learning and collaboration? Join Dr. Betsy Rymes for an interactive workshop in which graduate students and faculty will explore ways to rethink assignments and assessment, support students in setting and working toward shared and individual learning goals, and reflect on the role of emerging technologies in teaching and learning.
All graduate students are welcome. This event grows out of concerns in the Educational Linguistics department, and so may be most useful to students in related fields.
Counts toward the CETLI Teaching Certificate.
