Teaching in the Age of AI: Humanities
Facilitator: Nicole Adrian, CETLI Graduate Fellow, History
Generative AI is already part of students’ everyday lives. This workshop, which emphasizes student-led teaching skills, helps graduate instructors build AI literacy for themselves to better understand how students can engage with this quickly changing technology. Participants will explore how instructors can meaningfully use AI, while weighing the pitfalls and benefits. We will explore whether AI is a tool that can deepen learning rather than a shortcut that bypasses it.
