Bring Your Global Research to the Classroom: Creating a Penn Global Seminar

Facilitator: Drs. Lisa Ann Britton, FIGS; and Donovan O. Schaefer, Religious Studies

Teaching a Penn Global Seminar (PGS) allows instructors to integrate an international travel component into a course to enhance students’ learning. In this session Lisa Britton of FIGS and Donovan Shaefer of Religious Studies will talk about how they designed a PGS to incorporate their global research and networks. Members of the PGS team will also be on hand to answer questions about applications, which are open now until September 30, 2026.
