Assistant Director, Communications
As the Assistant Director of Communications, Erin partners with Penn faculty, staff, and graduate students to craft stories that amplify teaching, learning, and innovation across the university. She supports all internal and external communications for CETLI, including CETLI’s digital content strategy.
Erin’s work for CETLI is informed by her previous roles in higher education and digital media. As a writing instructor at the University of Virginia and the University of Iowa, she collaborated with faculty and developed her own teaching methods for both in-person and online courses. Erin was also a senior fiction editor and writer for the national, award-winning literary magazine, Electric Literature. She holds a Master’s in English Literature from UVA and an MFA in Fiction from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. Erin approaches her role with both a passion for storytelling and a personal commitment to developing innovative teaching strategies.
