Associate Director, Digital Strategies
As a member of CETLI’s digital strategies team, Chelsea supports the University’s online learning initiatives and champions innovative learning opportunities across Penn’s 12 schools. She supports initiatives related to developing and maintaining online technology infrastructure and is responsible for project and data management projects that advance CETLI’s mission and adhere to state, federal, and international compliance requirements. In addition, Chelsea partners with schools, central offices, and CETLI teams to identify growth opportunities and nurture innovation through pilot programs. She develops, distributes, and trains partners on existing and new resources and tools and manages internal and external collaborative partnerships that sustain Penn’s robust online degrees, certificates, and other offerings. She also oversees CETLI’s Spark Grant Program, as well as the management and reporting for Penn’s diverse MOOC portfolio.
Chelsea’s previous Penn roles include Senior Content Strategist at Penn Carey Law and Communications & Development Strategist at the Cohen Military Clinic at Penn Medicine. Prior to Penn, Chelsea’s career focused on strategic communications for nonprofits and advocacy organizations. In her six years at Juvenile Law Center, she developed messaging for the Debt-Free Justice campaign and managed numerous digital projects and national PR campaigns aimed at protecting youth rights.
