Teaching Your Own Research

Facilitator: Cameron Berlin, CETLI Fellow, Chemistry & Ellen Munsterman, CETLI Fellow, Nursing

Teaching your own research can enhance course material and demonstrate the utility of the course concepts, but how do you distill complex ideas into manageable teaching points? In this workshop, participants will discuss how to deliver lessons that are informed by your audience’s previous knowledge of the subject matter. Participants will also get to practice a short lesson.

Counts toward the CETLI Teaching Certificate.
