Whether you are designing a new course, looking to revise an old one, or generally curious about how to maximize student learning and engagement in your course, CETLI invites you to register for the annual Course Design Institute on May 21-23. Over the course of 3 days, CETLI staff and the members of the multidisciplinary faculty cohort will consider evidence-based practices in course design as they work collaboratively to: 

• Draft a syllabus and course learning outcomes.
• Develop assignments, grading, and feedback strategies.
• Brainstorm in-class activities, including lecture topics and group activities.

Participants will leave the institute with a robust course plan for the fall and a new foundation in course design that can be applied to future courses. Each day will include formal and informal discussions, focused individual work time,  and a complimentary lunch.

This is a three-day event that will run May 21-23, 2024 from 9:30 AM-3:00 PM.
