Associate Director, Technology and Pedagogy
As a member of the Instructional Design and Technology team, Rachel collaborates with instructors, academic units, and other staff to support the effective use of instructional technology tools to align with evidence-based teaching and learning practices. She works closely with partners in Penn’s schools and centers through all phases of instructional technology adoption, from identifying promising tools, through piloting, implementation at scale, technical support and education, and continuing evaluation.
Rachel holds an Ed.D. in Curriculum & Instruction: Educational Technology from University of South Carolina, an M.S. in School Psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a B.M. in Music Performance from West Chester University. She first began her teaching career in the School District of Philadelphia and most recently taught in the graduate school at University of the Arts.
